In order to sign in, you need to click on comment, make your comment, and click on Login and Publish. It should give you the option to sign in at that point. The rest should be straight forward. This website can be finicky, so try several times if you have trouble signing in. Email me if you have problems.

Hi, everyone. It was such a pleasure meeting all of you and listening to your vision of the future for linguistics and education. I came away filled with optimism. I think the mix of people at the workshop was very special. Everyone had something interesting and innovative to offer. The best part, of course, is that in the end it will be the students who gain.

Hi All,
I think it would be great to have everyone's name who was at the meeting as a contributor of the blog. In order to do this, I need to invite you as a member. When you accept, it will give you a place to fill out your profile information. If you want a picture, I think the easiest way is for you to send me a small picture, and I will give you an URL address from this end. All you have to do is plug in the URL address I give you and press enter. If there are any questions, let me know.

In the mean time, I will try to think of a name, Anne. I can't wait to start working with you.

Anne Lobeck thinks the project needs a name. How about "Linguistics and Educational Arts Project." I like it because of its acronym: LEAP.

If linguistics seems too narrow, we could replace it by "Language and Educational Arts Project."

I like your idea for naming the project LEAP. What does everyone else think?
